i found him at the atm

 

This picture was found last year (2007) at an ATM in Flint Hall, Syracuse University.

Since the discovery of this photo, a small group of people have become “obsessed” with the image. This photo has been duplicated and now exists as many stickers, a few 5x7’s, and even a large poster (it’s framed of course).

He’s been named “Chewy”, with his full name guessed to be “Chewy Montenegro”.

If you have any information relating to this man’s true identity, your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

The more people that are exposed to this group, the better a chance we have of finding him.

I’ll post clues and new information as it becomes available.

Just remember, keep sending. You never know, the next person you send it to might message you saying, “Hey man, that’s my Dad!”

If your tip leads to the identification or capture of Chewy, you will be handsomely rewarded.

Matt B. things his friend Rufas is our “Chewy Montenegro” Matt writes: “Hey there, A while ago, I stumbled upon your site and instantly recognized the photo as my buddy, Rod “Rufas” Crawford, who I’ve CC’ed on this email. I wanted to make sure through, so I sent him the photo to see if he remembered it.  He couldn’t remember having it taken and it had been so long since he’d had hair, he couldn’t remember what he had looked like at the time. He decided to grow his hair back out for comparison.  The attached pic is the result. I think it’s a match.” What do we think?

A more forensic look at the Chewy suspect…

We attract all sorts of help, I really appreciate the time “Chaz” took to help us out.

Tip from Allie.

Hello, I admire your admirable search for the striking fellow known as Chewy.

I would like to point out the obvious resemblance to olympic swimmer /
playboy Michael Phelps.

Here is a picture of Michael Phelps, in case you forgot what he looks like.

I think the similarities are uncanny. Perhaps Mr.Phelps used a website
such as YearBookYourself in order to create such a photo. I cannot
explain why he would be at Syracuse University.
