i found him at the atm

This picture was found last year (2007) at an ATM in Flint Hall, Syracuse University.

Since the discovery of this photo, a small group of people have become “obsessed” with the image. This photo has been duplicated and now exists as many stickers, a few 5x7’s, and even a large poster (it’s framed of course).

He’s been named “Chewy”, with his full name guessed to be “Chewy Montenegro”.

If you have any information relating to this man’s true identity, your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

The more people that are exposed to this group, the better a chance we have of finding him.

I’ll post clues and new information as it becomes available.

Just remember, keep sending. You never know, the next person you send it to might message you saying, “Hey man, that’s my Dad!”

If your tip leads to the identification or capture of Chewy, you will be handsomely rewarded.

Please contact if you have any information.

UPDATE FROM LOS ANGELES:

Last night (August 20th) I was sleeping and I heard a crash. Before I could even do anything someone had their hands over my eyes and was holding me down to my bed. He was breathing hard and I think he was bleeding. I tried to get up, but he was too strong. He said to me, “I swear to God, if I even feel somebody behind me, there is no measure to how fast I will bring this fight to your doorstep. This ends now.” And just like that he was gone.

There’s reason to believe that this was Chewy. I will not negotiate with this man and these words inspire to press harder in the search.

I thank the members of this group for their bravery. If you’re in this group, Chewy has your name. If anyone has had similar experiences, please don’t be afraid to share.
